Description
This class will provide officers, both new as well as experienced, with information on proper procedures to conduct investigative interviews with victims, witnesses and suspects involved in sexual assaults.
Upon successful completion of this class, the officer will be able to:
- Identify the value of good investigative interviewing during the investigation of sexual assault crimes.
- Identify appropriate techniques to interview with the victim of sexual assault.
- Identify appropriate techniques to interview with a witness to sexual assault.
- Identify appropriate techniques to interview of a suspected sexual assault perpetrator.
