Description
This class is about special management populations in jails and prisons, especially those who self identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, intersex or gender non-conforming. The impact of the 2012 final Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) rule upon correctional facilities in protecting these particular vulnerable populations from sexual assault is briefly described.
