This class focuses on basic restraint and control techniques used by correctional officers to maintain order and control inmates in a correctional facility. This module focuses on officers escaping from bear hugs, full nelsons, chokes, hair pulls, and wrist grabs applied by inmates. The module also focuses on escort holds the officer can use to facilitate the movement of uncooperative inmates within the facility.
